Jewelry Buying Questions
What can I buy or request from COAOCO?
Request findings, beads, charms, chains, clasps, jewelry-specific parts, stones, crystals, pearls and settings. Buy parts for self-assembly, coordinate categories or discuss assembly and custom development. Confirm item availability and supported scope.
Which purchasing route fits my project?
Use product sourcing for defined parts, coordination for several categories, assembly for joined pieces, semi-custom for changes to existing designs and custom for new components. For OEM/ODM, agree broader design and development responsibilities.
| Your situation | Route to consider | Information to prepare | Next step |
|---|---|---|---|
| You know which components you need | Product-only purchasing | Item names, specifications, and quantities | Request product options or a quote |
| You have several categories or SKUs | Sourcing coordination | A list of items, quantities, and any production requirements | Discuss the coordination scope |
| You want finished or semi-finished pieces | Assembly | Component list, design references, and assembly instructions | Discuss assembly requirements |
| You want to modify or develop a design | Semi-custom or custom development | Design brief, dimensions, materials, and quantities | Submit the project details for review |
| You are unsure which route fits | Initial sales discussion | Your intended product and the support you need | Ask about your project |
What information should I include in an inquiry?
Share parts, quantities, use, measured references, interfaces, materials and finishes, market requirements, packaging, labels, project stage and timing. Upload a BOM or drawings after confirming formats and confidential handling; arrange physical samples separately.
Which conditions must be confirmed before ordering?
Verify specifications, availability, pricing basis, MOQ, order structure, lead time and delivery. For samples, agree availability, fees, shipping, revisions and what appearance, dimensions or fit approval will cover.
| Topic | What to specify | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| MOQ and pricing | Items and quantities | Minimums, prices, quantity breaks, and order structure |
| Availability and capacity | Items, quantities, and project scale | Inventory and ability to supply the request |
| Lead time and delivery | Required date and destination | Timing, shipping terms, and delivery commitments |
| Materials and specifications | Composition, dimensions, tolerances, finish, and compatibility needs | Exact item details, including treatments where relevant |
| Assembly and samples | Operations and evaluation needs | Assembly scope, sample availability, fees, revisions, and approvals |

How are quality and inspection requirements agreed?
Define appearance, material, dimensions, fit, assembly, packaging and labeling criteria. Agree sample and order checks, responsibility, records and issue handling. Confirm testing, reports or independent inspection separately; these are not automatically included.
Which project details need further confirmation?
Confirm manufacturing or wholesale scope, capacity, material documentation, assembly or customization, intellectual property arrangements and commercial terms for your order. General service descriptions do not establish these conditions for an individual order.
